We renovated our kitchen and met with 3 contractors. Burke Construction is the only contractor who took the time to take all the appropriate measurements, to explain precisely the work that needed be done, and to provide a detailed quote before we made our decision on whom to hire.

The entire reno was completed as scheduled and there was no cost overrun. Everyone (electrician, plumber, HVAC, tiler, etc.) was courteous and competent. The work was well done. Burke Construction almost made our kitchen reno pleasant.

Sometimes I still find it hard to believe when I walk through our front door, that this is our home. Prior to renovating our home we had a wish list a mile long and we were not quite sure where to start. Then we met Paul Burke from Burke Construction. He took us through the whole process, from design, to demolition, to rebuilding and the end result is that we have a beautiful bright welcoming home.

We love all the finishes especially the kitchen and the basement. Paul’s attention to detail is second to none. Paul’s crew is absolutely fantastic. Three years ago we undertook a major kitchen reno project which included extending the square footage on the main floor as well as the basement. This also resulted in building/upgrading the powder and laundry rooms, family room, backyard and a covered backyard porch. Paul was the primary hands-on tradesman on the job and delivered nothing but a perfect build.

We re-engaged him again this year to manage the replacement of all windows, stairs and rails, hardwood, inside doors and trim, lighting, front porch/landing as well as outside walkways. The project started with just a subset of what I mentioned but expanded into the entire list. Paul and his team pulled off a wonderful job. He was on budget and on time and most importantly his extraordinary attention to detail and advice along the way was invaluable. The crew was extremely pleasant to work with, kept us informed and made sure the place was cleaned up at the end of each day.

We entrusted the work and our home to them and I would not hesitate using him again or recommending his services.
